A 26-year-old female is dead after she was thrown from the vehicle she was driving in a single-vehicle rollover.
RCMP say that around 4:30 pm they received a report of the collision on Highway 2 about four kilometres west of Fannstelle on Saturday, May 29, 2021.
According to investigators the vehicle was eastbound when it entered the westbound lane at a curve in the road. The driver over corrected in an attempt to avoid a collision with another vehicle and her vehicle entered the ditch and rolled.
The driver was not wearing her seatbelt. she was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died soon afterwards.
RCMP continue to investigate.
