A 77-year-old male is dead after the truck he was driving crashed into an overpass on the Falcon Lake exit to Highway 1 on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
Police say the truck came to an abrupt stop. A driver in a following vehicle called 911 and came to the aid of the driver of the truck. When RCMP arrived they immediately began CPR but were unable to save the driver and he died at the scene.
Speed and alcohol were not factors in the collision.
RCMP continue to investigate.
