A 43-year-old female is facing serious charges after she was involved in a collision with a pedestrian in Lynn Lake in the early morning hours of June 25, 2022.
RCMP say that a 26-year-old male was walking on Sherritt Avenue in the community around 2:15 am when he was struck by a vehicle. The male was taken to hospital with serious life-threatening injuries and died from injuries two days later.
The female driver remained on the scene and was arrested for Impaired Driving Causing Bodily harm. She was re-arrested after the victim died and charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death.
She was released from custody and will answer to the charges in court on August 23, 2022.
RCMP continue to investigate.
