SUDWinnipeg Police were called to the 400 block of Cumberland Ave. around 2:30 Friday morning for reports of a person in medical distress.

The victim, a 32 year old woman, was taken to hospital in critical condition and later died.

The investigation has revealed that the deceased was in the company of two intoxicated males prior to her death. These males were known to the deceased and have been identified.

An autopsy has been completed and foul play regarding her death is not suspected. Toxicology reports are still pending.

The name of the deceased will not be made public.
