As News 4 told you on January 5, 2018, a serious collision between a stolen vehicle and a City of Winnipeg Transit bus resulted in Osborne Street being closed down for several hours as police investigated.

The collision happened around 1:40 am. Police say that the car that had earlier been stolen from a dealership on Pembina Highway crossed the centre line an slammed into the bus causing significant damage to the car. The driver, a male in his 20’s, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the bus was treated and released.
On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, police reported that the driver of the stolen vehicle died of his injuries.
