Just after 6:30 pm on Friday, November 11 RCMP and Winnipeg Police responded the the report of a person walking on the Perimeter Highway near Dawson Road.
While en-route officers from both services received information that the pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle. When police arrived they found a female had been fatally hit. She was pronounce dead at the scene.
RCMP are asking anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident to call Traffic Services at 204-984-6913 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
