If you are planning to travel east of Winnipeg on the Trans-Canada be prepared for delays as a construction project at Deacon’s Corner (Highway 1 and PR 207) is slated to run until October 2022.
Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MIT) says that temporary traffic control devices will be set up in both the east and westbound lanes and motorists should watch for and follow construction signage.
MIT advises residents of Lorette to use PR 405 an an alternate route to avoid delays at the intersection.
