WINNIPEG WEATHER

Daylight Saving Time Begins This Weekend

Manitobans are reminded to set their clocks forward this weekend as daylight saving time officially begins. According to a release from Manitoba Municipal and Northern Relations, the change will occur in the early hours of Sunday, March 9th.

At 2 a.m. on Sunday, clocks across the province will jump forward one hour to 3 a.m., ushering in longer daylight hours for the spring and summer seasons.

It’s a good idea to adjust your clocks before going to bed on Saturday night. This is also a great time to change the batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms.
