Day three with no new COVID-19 cases

Manitoba Public Health announced on Friday, July 3, 2020, that there are no new cases of COVID-19 identified in the province. The total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases remains at 325.

There are 16 active cases of the virus in Manitoba as of today with Public Health reporting 302 people recovered.

There are no hospitalizations related to the virus in the province.

The death toll remains at seven due to COVID-19.

641 laboratory tests were performed on Thursday. This brings the total number of tests performed since early February to 64,968.

Manitoba Public Health has released more information regarding the individual who was announced as positive on June 29, 2020, and had recently travelled on three flights. Officials have now confirmed information about the third flight Air Canada flight 122 from Vancouver to Toronto on June 21. Passengers in rows 31-37 are considered to be close contact and should self-isolate for 14 days following the flight.

Individuals on the flight who were not in the affected rows should monitor for symptoms. If symptoms develop they should be tested.
