A 68-year-old woman has died after the vehicle she was driving crashed into the read of a semi-truck on Monday morning, March 14, 2022.
Police say the collision happened on Highway 276 near Roketon, Manitoba.
The victim was driving a northbound pickup truck when it rear-ended a semi travelling in the same direction. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi suffered minor injuries.
Investigators say that road conditions and poor visibility appear to have played a factor in the collision.
RCMP continue to investigate.
