A Dauphin man is recovering in hospital after he was shot while walking in the area of 1st Street SW and 4th Avenue SW around 10:00 pm on October 10, 2023.
Police learned of the shooting when the 43-year-old victim turned up in hospital in the westman community suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police say that while on his walk the victim encountered three males on BMX bikes and while speaking to them was shot.
Investigators are asking residents in the area to review their home secuirty footage to see if the victim or suspects were captured on video. Police can be reached at (204) 622-5020 if you have any information about this shooting.
