A Dauphin man died after the motorcycle he was riding hit loose gravel then collided with a guard rail on Highway 482 about 10 kilometres west of Highway 83 on Monday afternoon, May 15, 2023. When the rider hit the guard rail he was thrown from his motorcycle.
Although the 49-year-old was transported to a Dauphin hospital he did not survive his injuries.
RCMP says that neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in the collision.
At the time of the collision the man was riding with three other motorcyclists.
The investigation continues.
