Shortly after 8:00 pm, RCMP arrested Wes Wadien without incident in the RM of Rockwood.
RCMP have issued a public warning about a dangerous male who may be in the Winnipeg, Selkirk or Interlake areas. Police say they believe that 38-year-old Wesley Manfred Wadien is an immediate threat to the general public.
Wadien is wanted for uttering threats, pointing a firearm and multiple arrest warrants for other offences.
Just after 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, RCMP issued an emergency alert over the broadcast and cellular networks.
Wadien was last seen at 3:53 pm on Highway 17 and Road 12 East in the Interlake. RCMP say he is also known to frequent the Garden City and West Kildonan neighbourhoods in Winnipeg.
Wadien was last seen driving a White Dodge Ram with licence plate # KRC 820. He is described as Caucasian, 5’7″ tall and weighing 146 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
If you see Waiden DO NOT approach him. Call 911 immediately, say police.
