Dakota Ojibway Police are looking for two missing teens

Dakota Ojibway Police Service are searching for two female teens who went missing from Long Plain First Nation just west of Portage la Prairie on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.

Police say that Alicia Smith and Mary Beaulieu-Smith were reported missing on Thursday but had not been seen since around 6:00 pm the night before. Police are concerned for their safety and are searching with the help of Long Plain Fire Department. RCMP in Portage la Prairie have been notified about the missing pair as well.

Alicia Smith is described as a 16-year-old indigenous female, 5’6″ tall weighing approximately 140 lbs she has a slim build with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with fur around the collar and blue jeans.

Mary Beaulieu-Smith is a 15-year-old indigenous female, 5’0″ tall weighing 130 lbs with a medium build. She has shoulder length black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink sweater and blue jeans.
