The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) local 500 has reach a tentative agreement with the City of Winnipeg .
According to CUPE the deal still needs to be ratified by it’s members however it is recommending that workers approve the deal.
Details of the proposed contract have not been released.
It is expected that members will get the opportunity to look at the deal and vote on it within the next week.
Last week CUPE was give a large strike mandate from it’s members after they rejected a city offer.
