CRIME SPREE | ROBBERIES, BREAK-INS & FRAUD, 29 YEAR OLD MAN BUSTED

Winnipeg Police were hot on the trail of  29 year old male who was crossing the city on a mini crime spree for the past month. Scott James Henry has been charged with over 25 offences due to his alleged involvement. 

It all started July 26, 2016 when he allegedly broke into a home on Island Shore Boulevard. He stole a vehicle and personal ID. A couple of week later on August 15th he struck again this time robbing a business on Wilton Street of cash. The next day he robbed a business on Pembina Highway.

He took a break for a couple of days but was back at it on the 20th of August when he broke into a car and stole ID and credit cars on Abraham Bay. On August 22nd he broke into a vehicle on Ormiston Rd. and stole more ID. Again on August 23rd he broke into a vehicle and stole ID.

The WPS Major Crime Unit investigated and the suspect was identified and had a Justice issue a warrant for his arrest.

General patrol officers found the suspect on August 29th riding a bike on Cheerier Boulevard near Pembina Highway and arrested him.

He was remanded into custody.
