Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged a 34-year-old male suspect after he was involved in a nine-day crime spree across the city.
Between February 3 and February 12, 2018, Roman Wolfgang Reichart is alleged to have committed a number of crimes beginning with the theft of nearly $5,000 worth of narcotics from a pharmacy in the 900 block of Keewatin Street.
The next day, February 4, 2018, more narcotics were stolen from a pharmacy in the 400 block of William Avenue.
On Friday, February 9th a 2018 SUV was stolen from a car rental agency in the 1700 block of Waverley Street.
The crime spree continued on Saturday when $11,000 worth of narcotics were stolen from a Regent Avenue West pharmacy located in the 200 block.
On February 11 licence plates were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of McPhillips Street. Later in the day a 2018 SUV was stolen from a car dealer in the 1700 block of Waverley Street.
Police say that the suspect also stole a 2018 cargo van sometime between February 3 and February 11, 2018. from a dealership in the 1300 block of Regent Avenue.
On Monday, February 12, 2018, one of the stolen vehicles was found by patrol officers. Reichart was found inside the vehicle and arrested.
Officers also seized $11,000 in cash, $1,100 in Meth, $2,000 worth of Cocaine, $7,200 worth of prescription medications and a number of break-in tools.
Reichart is facing a number of charges for his alleged involvement in the crime spree.

Reichart was detained in custody.
