Crews battle two Alexander Avenue vacant house fires

Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were called to a structure fire early Saturday morning, July 16, 2022, in the 1900 block of Alexander Avenue.

Smoke and flames could be seen from several blocks away as emergency crews responded to the scene around 1:30 am. When firefighters arrived they found a single-storey vacant house fully involved. The fire quickly extended to a neighbouring vacant single-storey house.
