Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to garage fire just before 10:00 pm on Monday, January 20, 2020, on Corydon Avenue near Rockwood Street.
When crews arrived flames were shooting out of the detached garage and an offensive attack was launched.
During the operation, crews manning the pumpers were struggling with at least one dry hydrant in the area which briefly limited the water supply to fight the fire.
It took just over an hour before the fire was declared under control.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
