Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire in a vacant three-storey apartment complex in the 500 block of Balmoral Street just before 7:00 pm on Monday, June 21, 2021.

When firefighters arrived they found flames and smoke coming from the structure. An offensive attack was launched. The fire was declared under control at 7:24 pm.

A search of the building found no one inside. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
