A serious crash in ST. James Thursday during rush hour had traffic backing up as both westbound lanes of Portage Avenue were closed as police and emergency crews worked the scene.
2 children and 1 adult were extracted from the car and taken to hospital in un-stable condition.
The crash occurred just after 5:00pm and involved a truck and a car.
Portage Avenue remain closed until just after 8:00pm while police investigated.
