COVID-19 update: one new case identified on Sunday, May 3rd

Manitoba Public Health announced on Sunday. May 3, 2020, that there is one new case of COVID-19 identified in the province. The total number of cases remains at 281

Currently, there are five people being treated for the virus in the hospital with no intensive care patients

237 people have recovered from COVID-19 in Manitoba with 38 cases remaining active.

The number of deaths related to the virus remains at 6 in Manitoba.

643 tests were performed on Friday, May 1st bringing the total number of lab-confirmed and probable tests performed since early February to 26,806

Testing criteria now includes all symptomatic Manitobans. Anyone showing symptoms still needs to be referred for testing by calling Health Links at 204-788-8200 or 1-888-315-9257.
