On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Manitoba Public Health announced one additional probable case of COVID-19.
The new case involves a man in his 40s who lives in Winnipeg. Public Health inspectors are in the process of determining if this case is related to travel.
Total confirmed and probable cases in Manitoba now stands at 21.
Health officials announced that non-essential and routine diagnostic testing, including laboratory, imaging and non-invasive cardiac services will be postponed. Urgent diagnostic testing will continue. Affected patients will be contacted.
Public continues to urge Manitobans to stop all non-essential travel outside the province. Officials are recommending that anyone who returns from travel outside the province to self-isolate and self-monitor for 14 days upon their return.

A new drive-thru community testing site opens Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in Winkler at the Winkler Centennial Arena. Like all other testing sites in Manitoba this new site is not a walk-in clinic. A referral is required prior to testing.
