COVID-19 cases in Manitoba remain at 19, says public health

The number of presumptive and lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 remains at 19 in Manitoba as of Sunday morning, March 22, 2020.

As public health officials remind Manitobans daily to self-isolated upon returning from international travel they say it is extremely important to practice safe social distancing practices to help stop the spread go COVID-19 in the province.

People concerned their exposure to the virus are encouraged to call Health Links at 204-788-8200 or 1-888-315-9257 to be screened to see if a test is needed.

The province has also an on-line screening service as well as an interactive voice response service at 1-877-308-9038. If needed the services will direct those requiring a further conversation with a health-care professional to Health Links.

All current cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba appear to be linked to travel.
