Manitoba Public Health announced 16 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, August 10, 2020, as of 9:30 am. The total number of lab-confirmed and probable cases stands at 558.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 1.59 per cent.
11 of the new cases are in the Prairie Mountain Health region with the other five from the Southern Health region.
Today’s cases break down as follows:
Prairie Mountain Health Region
- One male between 10 and 19
- One female in her 20s
- Four males in their 30s
- Three males in their 40s
- One male in his 50s
- One female in her 70s
Southern Health Region
- One female in her 30s
- One female and two males in their 40s
- One male in their 50s

There are currently 196 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 354 people listed as recovered.
Six people are being treated in hospital of which three are in intensive care.
The total number of deaths in Manitoba related to COVID-19 remains at eight.
1,364 laboratory tests were completed on Sunday. According to Manitoba Public Health the total number of completed tests since early February to 103,782.
