Theodore Herntier received a life sentance Thursday without the possibility of parole for 15 years for the second degree murder of Divas Boulanger.

Boulanger was a transgender sex trade worker who was brutally murdered and dumped at a rest stop along the highway near Portage La Prairie.

Herntier was arrested and charged with the murder in 2010 and convicted in November of 2015.
