The City of Winnipeg announced today that the Cornish Library will be closed until Spring 2022 at the earliest due to a failure in the HVAC system.
The city cites COVID-19 related supply issues as the reason it will take so long to receive a replacement unit.
Those who had materials placed on hold will be able to pick them up at Harvy Smith Library at 999 Sargent Avenue beginning on January 21, 2022. Items needing to be returned can be dropped off at any library branch.
