Brandon Police are looking into a break-in and theft at a Manitoba Hydro sub-station over the weekend.
Investigators say that sometime between 4:30 pm on Friday, August 2nd and 8:00 am on August 6, 2019, 500 pounds of copper was stolen from the sub-station in the 1700 block of Victoria Avenue East.
The suspects had apparently cut open the gate and made their way into the compound. on top of the copper several jerry cans of gasoline were also stolen.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Brandon Police.
