Two people have been charged in connection to a break-in that happened at a Hamilton Avenue construction site in the early morning hours of November 26, 2019.
Police say that during the break-in a number of items were stolen including a generator valued at $60,000.
Members of the Major Crimes Unit investigated and found the generator outside a Vimy Road home. Police obtained and executed a search warrant.
During the search, the items stolen in the break-in were recovered along with items that had been stolen from a construction site in May of 2017.
Ronald Scott Jensen, 51 and a 43-year-old female, both from Winnipeg were arrested and charged for their alleged involvement with Break Enter and Theft Place. Jensen was also charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000.
Jensen was detained in custody the adult female was released on a promise to appear in court.
