Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were called to a fire in a three-storey condo complex on Greenway Crescent Thursday night, July 11, 2019.

When firefighters arrived they found several resident from the building working to put out the fire on the exterior facing wall of one of the suites.

Fire crews took over and finished the task.

Firefighters say the blaze had not extended into the interior walls and damage was kept to a minimum.

No one was injured in the fire

The fire appears to have been accidental in nature due to the careless disposal of smoking materials.
