One man is dead after a police-involved shooting on Saturday, February 23, 2019 says Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit.
The incident happened at an apartment on Colony Street between Broadway and St. Mary Avenue.
Winnipeg Police have cordoned off the area while investigators work the scene.
Details of what led up to the shooting have not been released.
This is the third shooting by Winnipeg Police since the beginning of 2019.
