COLLISIONS CLAIM TWO LIVES ON MANITOBA HIGHWAYS ON SUNDAY

On Sunday June 25, 2017 two drivers died in two separate collisions.
Just after 12:30 a pickup truck left the road an slammed into a telephone pole on highway 7 north of teulon. The 81 year old driver was taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The second collision occurred on highway 16 near Gladstone around 1:30 pm. A van driven by a 23 year old male in attempting to pass a vehicle hit a semi truck pulling two trailers head on. The driver of the van was killed instantly. The semi driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
RCMP say that they consider speed a factor in this collision.
