RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Sunday morning, August 23, 2020, just after 9:00 am on Highway 1 west of Brandon.

A 56-year-old male driver died after his vehicle left the road and collided with the concrete support of an overpass at Provincial Road 459.

Police say the male was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. He was declared dead at the scene.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is under investigation.
