Collision snarls traffic during one of the busiest shopping days of the year

A collision between two SUVs snarled traffic and frustrated several drivers as they tried to navigate the accident scene.

It happened just before 9:40 am at McGillivray Boulevard and Columbia Drive on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

A grey SUV collided with Blue Ford SUV. The force of the collision destroyed the front end of the grey SUV and sent the Ford onto the boulevard deploying the airbags inside the vehicle.

It took about 90 minutes for the vehicles to be towed away, however, the traffic light standard remained partially in the roadway for a few more hours.

It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured.
