On Sunday, February 9, 2020, RCMP responded to a collision on the north Perimeter Highway involving a single vehicle.
Officers learned on their way to the collision that the driver of the vehicle was threatening people who had stopped to help him.
The driver was in his vehicle when police arrived and placed under arrest for uttering threats.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a small amount of cocaine along with two bottles of anabolic steroids. A K-9 unit then searched the vehicle and found a 9mm handgun inside the vehicle. The handgun was not loaded.
Jeffrey William Frame, age 40 from Lockport is facing a number of charges for his alleged involvement including Possession of a Prohibited Firearm, Possession of a Weapon Contrary to an Order, Possession of a Firearm with Tampered Serial Number, Uttering Threats and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
RCMP continue to investigate.
