A 47-year old man was electrocuted on Sunday night March 24, 2019 after coming into contact with live hydro lines.
Police say that just after 8:30 pm a vehicle travelling west on Roblin Boulevard near Beaudry Park collided with a hydro pole. The impact of the collision knocked down the hydro lines.
The driver of the vehicle survived the crash but as he exited the vehicle he came in contact with the energized lines.
Police say the man died at the scene.
Speed, alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors in the collision investigators say.
