A two vehicle collision on the southbound lanes of the Disraeli Freeway mid way through the afternoon has sent one person to hospital in critical condition.
Traffic in the area had to be diverted as both the north and southbound lanes were closed south of Higgins Avenue.
Just after 4:45 pm police partially opened the northbound lanes but the southbound lanes will remain closed as police investigate the accident.
Update: S/B Disraeli from Henderson has been closed while N/B Disraeli is partially open (limited lanes) due to a serious vehicle collision.
