On the evening of September 3, 2024, a fatal two-vehicle collision occurred on Provincial Road 210 at Road 41 N, in the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne.
At approximately 6:25 pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to the scene where a northbound vehicle collided with a southbound vehicle. The driver of the northbound vehicle, a 42-year-old male from Winnipeg, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 70-year-old male, also from Winnipeg, sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Steinbach RCMP, in collaboration with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
