Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service is investigating the cause of an early morning fire on Thursday, June 18, 2020.
Crews encountered heavy smoke coming from a two-storey residential building on college Avenue as they arrived on scene just after 3:30 am.
An offensive attack was launched and the fire was under control at 3:58 am.
Occupants of the building were able to self-evacuate before firefighters arrived.
The fire was contained to a single suite.
