Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit have arrested a 40-year-old woman in connection to a stabbing on College Avenue on Sunday, February 18, 2024.

According to police, area residents in the 600 block got into a fight around 8:00 pm. When officers arrived on the scene they found a 30-year-old female suffering from multiple stab wounds. Police provided emergency medical care including the us of a tourniquet and chest seal. The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.

Elaine Lundberg of Winnipeg has been charged for her alleged involvement with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon.

Lundberg was detained in custody.
