Cocaine found in a shipment destined for a Manitoba First Nation

RCMP at the Winnipeg International Airport were contacted on Sunday afternoon, July 25, 2021, about a package containing drugs destined to a northern Manitoba First Nation.

Police say that a security check of cargo being shipped to Bunibonibee Cree Nation (Oxford House) uncovered a large package that appeared to have been tampered with. Further inspection by security employees at the shipping business found 440 grams of cocaine inside the package that was then seized by police.
