The unofficial end to summer is once again upon us as we mark the Labour Day long weekend off the calendars.
Although most things are open on Saturday and Sunday it is not the case for Monday, September 3, 2018.
Here is a list of what’s closed on Labour Day:
Shopping Centres – Including Polo Park, St. Vital, Kildonan Place, Portage Place and Grant Park
Manitoba Liquor Marts
City of Winnipeg services – Including libraries, indoor swimming pools, leisure centres, civic offices, animal services | city-owned golf courses and outdoor pools are open
Province of Manitoba offices are closed
Banks and Credit Unions are closed but ATM’s are available throughout the province.
Most big box stores like Best Buy, Hudson Bay Home, Costco are also closed on Monday, September 3, 2018
Grocery Stores will also be closed on Monday
