‘Tis the season.
Winnipeg Transit has once again transformed one of its vehicles into the “Santa Bus”.
Every year cash fares and donations collected on the Santa Bus are given the the Christmas Cheer Board. In 2015 the campaign raised $15,000.
The bus features a wrap around graphic depicting Santa and his Reindeers.
Starting Thursday, Bus #147 will be transformed into the Santa Bus, decked out in holiday gear.
All cash fares and donations collected on the Santa Bus go directly to the Christmas Cheer Board. Last year it raised $13,000.
If you would like to donate to the cause or Ride the Santa Bus it can be found on the following routes between now and Christmas eve.
- 11 Kildonan – Portage (December 1 to 6)
- 16 Osborne – Selkirk (December 7 to 12)
- 19 Marion-Logan, Notre Dame (December 13 to 18)
- 18 North Main – Corydon (December 19 to 24)
