Winnipeg Transit fees are going up again on January 1, 2017. The annual fare hikes are based on the rate of inflation and are automatic under the Fees and Charges By-Law.
Full and Handi-Transit cash fares will be $2.70. Reduced and Senior cash fares will be $2.20. New rates for tickets and passes will also be in effect January 1, 2017.
Current transit fares are in effect until December 31, 2016 and 2016 bus tickets (plus applicable cash difference) will be accepted until March 31, 2017.
