Deepak Joshi the former CAO who was suspended in January of 2015 made $567,339.00 that year, making him the highest paid civic employee. Joshi had only worked the first three weeks of 2015 before Mayor Brian Bowman removed him from his job as acting CAO. He resigned a month later.
The information about compensation for civic employees came out in a report from the city on Wednesday. Although the report does not say how much of his pay was severance the amount he was paid was more than double what he made for doing the job in 2014.
