City developers showed up on mass today at the Executive Policy committee to let the mayor know how unhappy they are.
The developers feel that there needs to be much more consultation with the industry and stakeholders before growth fees should be implemented.
Although the debate on new fees charged by the city on construction projects won’t go away for long the mayor agreed to hold off on voting on the fees in the immediate future.
It is expected that the city and developers will have an opportunity to discuss the impact of any fees in the next few days and weeks.
