Winnipeg’s annual street cleaning operation is slated to begin at 10:00 pm on Sunday May 1, 2022.
Depending on the weather crews will begin cleaning all roads, bridges, sidewalks and transportation pathways in an operation that is expected to involve 300 pieces of equipment, 500 workers and last until mid June.
The city is asking people to remove their vehicles when a residential street is scheduled to be cleaned. This makes the job easier for crews and will prevent you from getting a $150 ticket and having your vehicle towed.
