The city is moving forward on getting its hands on the properties needed to get the Waverley underpass project underway.
Approximately 15 pieces of land are needed to be acquired including parking lots on the east and west side of the Taylor and Waverley intersection.
It is expected that the city will have to expropriate some of the land in order for the project timelines to remain on track.
The project is slated to begin the construction phase in early 2017 with a completion of late 2019 with an initial budget of $155 million.
