As of September 8, 2020, the City of Winnipeg updated its admission and fee schedule for facility use and eliminated the senior category.
The change to the fees resulted in seniors over the age of 65 being charged the adult rate for facility use.
Effective Monday, September 28, 2020, Winnipeg has reversed the decision to remove the senior category and has reinstated it.
Anyone over the age of 65 who purchased on of the facility passes at the adult rate between September 8 and September 27, 2020 will be reimbursed the difference between the two fees upon request.
