The City of Winnipeg announced that they will begin to reopen most indoor pools on Monday, March 29, 2021.
The pools will operate at 25% capacity for aquatic sports groups, lane swimming, aquatic fitness classes, and limited public swimming.
Pools scheduled to reopen are:
- Bonivital
- Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex
- Elmwood Kildonans
- Kinsmen Sherbrook
- Margaret Grant
- Pan Am
- Sergeant Tommy Prince Place
- Seven Oaks
- St. James Assiniboia Centennial
- Transcona Kinsmen Centennial
Eldon Ross Pool and St. James Civic Centre will remain closed.
Those using the pools are advised to pre-book swim blocks in advance. The city warns that there is no guarantee that blocks will be available if you don’t pre-book.
The pools and fitness areas will be closed for 30 minutes between each two-hour block for cleaning and to allow a reasonable amount of time for users to leave the facility.
To book an available block visit the Leisure Online website or call 311. You can also book blocks at the facilities as they reopen.
